Fraction Talk

Fraction can be hard to grasp at first, but you guys are doing so well!
What I would like you to do is answer this question and leave the answer as comment on this post with all the things your comment should include.

Question:
What do you think is the most important thing you have learned about fractions so far?
And Why?

Your comment should include:
   1.) Your Name
2.) One real life example of when you would use fractions
(Which you have already though of for your second website)
Make sure that the real life example that you post is not already been posted by another student.
 So NO repeats.
3.) If you have any questions about fractions please write them in here.
4.) If you see a question that you can answer, please do so here!

Please have this done before you come to class tomorrow

Things to bring to Class:
1.) Bring your answers to the questions I had you answer.
2.) The paper you printed of from the third website.
3.) Bring your filled out KWL
4.) And Bring 20 sugar cubes

The sugar cubes are for a class activity we will be doing tomorrow
I will have you split up into teams and we will be building a sugar cube pyramid.
we will be labeling each sugar cube on each layer.
For example, if it takes 20 sugar cubes to build the bottom layer, label each sugar cube 1/20
And whatever team labels their pyramid right and build their pyramid the fastest is the winner!

Thank you everybody, can't wait to see you all in class!
